Dear Visitor
The European Parliament Former Members Association (FMA) was created in October 2001 with the support and assistance of Parliament in order to bring together former MEPs and avail of their experience and expertise. The FMA currently has over 500 members and is involved in a wide range of EU affairs activity including conferences, seminars, democracy building, and spreading information about the European Parliament and the EU. Much of the activity is carried out in partnership with the European Commission, Universities, and other bodies.

We publish our FMA Bulletin in English and French four times per year and you can register to receive an electronic version by sending us an e-mail. You can also find information on some of our current activity by clicking on the link "About the FMA".
I very much hope you will enjoy visiting our website. If you are a former MEP and would like to join the FMA, please complete the FMA Membership Application Form and return it to the FMA secretariat in Brussels.
Yours sincerely
José María GIL-ROBLES
FMA President
Former President of the European Parliament (1997 - 1999)
